How I Spent My Summer Vacation

If you follow me on Instagram, you probably have noticed that I’ve been traveling a lot this summer. And this has meant I had to take an extended hiatus from posting videos on my channel. But don’t worry! Its just vacation. I am coming back next week and will start posting sparkly new videos.

Besides, I’m almost at 25,000 subscribers! So, clearly, we will need to celebrate! But we will discuss that later.

For now, I thought I’d share with you a bit about what I did. My vacation started out with me planning to spend a couple of weeks with my Papa and Gigi (Grandparents) in Houston. But, Gigi kept baking me pies and playing every single game I love with me, so I decided to stay for 2 and a half months 🙂

It was so much fun. We took lots of road trips to visit my uncle and auntie and cousins, spent Saturday afternoons on the water way having picnics and listening to live music, and I made new friends that will now be pen pals until I’m back in Houston for Christmas.

Then, a few weeks ago, my Daddy came and got me and took me to Miami to see my other Grandmother (cue more delicious foods). And they surprised me with a trip to Disney world. Generally speaking, I don’t like amusement parks. I don’t like roller coasters, or fast rides, or rides where I don’t know whats going to happen.

But it was Disney World! And I haven’t been since my 4th birthday so I was super excited to go. When I was 4, I was obsessed with princesses so I drug my parents around the park trying to meet them all. I wanted to meet Princess Tiana, but I never got to. But I did see her in the parade, so I was happy.

Anyway, this trip, I met Tinker Bell and Goofy. I wanted to find Chip and Dale to tell them I love their cartoon, but I couldn’t. And, if you’re curious, yes! I did ride lots of rides. No roller coasters or anything, but lots of fun rides, like Peter Pan.

Now this weekend, I had to say bye to Florida and  I’m spending the next few days in the desert with my daddy. We will probably go to a baseball game and he will probably take me with him on some work meetings.

Back to California on Wednesday, and I start a fourth grade adventure on Thursday.

Its going to be a busy week.

How did you all spend your summer?
