New Show, ‘Magic School Bus 360,’ to stream on Netflix

If you’re a fan of “The Magic School Bus,” then you’re in for a fun new surprise.  Netflix has ordered a new series based on Scholastic Media’s “Magic School Bus,” the long-running television series that encouraged kids to pursue science.
Netflix will stream worldwide 26 half-hour episodes of the new program, “The Magic School Bus 360°,” which will use computer-generated animation. 
The show is set to release in 2016.  Netflix states that the old version of “The Magic School Bus,” is one of its most popular streaming educational shows.
The new version of the show will include a modernized Ms. Frizzle, who will take her class on flying trips on an updated bus. The students will use newer scientific tools.
First shown on PBS in 1994,  “The Magic School Bus” was the longest-running children’s science program, Scholastic said, and was shown in approximately 39 countries. The company continues to publish books under the brand.
