What you Need to Know about Superbowl XLIX

So, you know the Superbowl is a football game, but your knowldege ends there? Don’t worry, Glitter Girls. I’ve got your back. Here’s a couple fast facts to help you get through this Superbowl with more to comment on than the team’s fab new jerseys, or Katy Perry’s awesomeness at half time.
1) For starters, the Patriots and the Seahawks are the teams playing this year
2) Patriots are a fan favorite. Seahawks are a bit of an underdog here. Before last year, no one even knew they existed. (okay, they weren’t that obscure, but you get what I’m saying)
3) XLIX is a Roman numberal representing the number 49
4) The Superbowl is being hosted by University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
5) Katy Perry is, indeed, performing at halftime
6) This was the priciest year for Superbowl tickets in history. Which is why we will all be watching from home
7) Tom Brady is the player to watch tonight. He is 2 touchdown passes behind Joe Montana for most in Super Bowl history
Now sit back, relax, and enjoy the game!
